History:
1961
AER Corporation was incorporated in New Jersey and began engineering, designing, manufacturing and installing air application equipment or the pulp and paper industry and for special drying applications in numerous other fields.
1982
Thermo Electron purchases and merges AER Corporation and Overly (floatation dryers) to form AER-Overly.
1983
Thermo Electron purchases Lodding (doctors) and merges it with AER-Overly to form Thermo Electron Web Systems headquartered in Auburn, MA.
1986
The AER-Overly segment of T.E. Web Systems was separated and became a new company called Airtherm Corporation headquartered in Longview, WA. The Lodding segment went on to become known as Kadant.
2010
AIRTHERM purchases Fluidaire and begins marketing, design, installation and servicing Fluidaire products including sheet stabilization using airfoil technology.
2016
AIRTHERM Corporation celebrates 30 years servicing the pulp and paper industry on June 1, 2016.
